AIR
We offer complete solutions for aviation logistics for both import and export. We can also provide a courier service or chartering / express delivery as required.

IMPORT
We collect goods/cargo from addresses across Europe, Scandinavia and the rest of the world by road, deliver it to the airport, organise air freight to a Norwegian airport and take care of customs clearance and road transport to the customer’s address (door-to-door). If you wish, you can also collect the delivery yourself from a Norwegian airport (door-to-airport).
Export
We collect goods/cargo from addresses in Norway, transport it to the airport and oversee export customs clearance. Next we organise air transport of the goods to your chosen airport anywhere in the world. We have agents all over the world who will clear customs and transport the goods to the given address (door-to-door) if desired. Most overseas recipients collect the goods at the airport and take care of customs clearance themselves.
COURIER SERVICE
We offer a courier service for when you’re really in a hurry and cannot afford any delay. A courier will then collect your parcel, identify the quickest route by air, and personally carry the parcel to its destination. The courier will clear customs in the recipient country or meet the addressee’s agent for customs clearance and delivery of the goods. This is a “high cost” service and is used where time is money.
Chartering
If your packages are of a non-standard size and you’re in a hurry, you can opt for chartering. We will then charter a special aircraft either exclusively for your delivery or for joint delivery with other consignments (part charter) to the same part of the world as your addressee. Air charters are also used for smaller consignments when time is of the essence.
Import
We collect the goods from your chosen address in Europe or Scandinavia and convey it by road to your address in Norway. We take care of import clearance and document processing.
Export
We collect goods from addresses in Norway and take care of export clearance and the T1 document. The goods are then delivered to the agreed address in Europe. We oversee import clearance and completion of the T1 document.
Express
If prompt delivery is important to you, we offer express delivery by van, lorry or special transport. We can provide express delivery for both import and export and for urgent deliveries within Norway.
SPECIAL TRANSPORT (BIG AND HEAVY)
BEF Shipping provides special transport as and when needed. Special transport involves larger consignments (non-standard measurements or weight) whose conveyance requires special equipment and often also escort vehicles and a permit from the highway authorities. We can organise this type of transport in Norway and the rest of Europe for both export and import.
DOMESTIC FREIGHT
This involves the transportation of goods from one address to another within Norway. Goods that can be carried by standard vehicles.
CONTAINERS
We provide transport of containerised goods by sea all over the world, both import and export. We can also take care of all the paperwork required for shipping goods by sea.
BREAK BULK
BEF Shipping provides transportation of goods that cannot be packed into containers (big and heavy), be it steel constructions, cranes, tanks or winches, and that require dedicated space and handling on board.
CHARTERING
We also offer ship chartering. This means that you book a vessel dedicated to a given route/assignment. For example, the vessel is loaded in Hamburg and sails to Ulsteinvik. The customer pays for the entire vessel or part of it (part charter). |
